How do you know who to help?
As a missionary Deb is asked frequently about her life in Africa. "There are so many needs, how do you know how to help and who to help?" Well, certainly discernment comes into play, alongside trying to assess the true needs and the willingness of the family or community to participate. Sometimes, it is not possible for them, especially in severe cases of starvation or absolute poverty. But Eagles Wings tries to help those who have the most potential and the humble honest commitment and passion for bettering their lives. Especially where we can make a difference with education - which is where it all begins! Deb will periodically give you stories of people that she believes are good bets for your partnerships. Each of the stories is different, each of the situations is different, but all are worthy of a chance and hope for their futures. Perhaps one of these will strike a chord with you and that you will Help their Hope Happen! Eagles Wings serves as a project facilitator and will make sure you receive updates and letters from the people you choose to help.
Here are two special projects that need your support, and if you are led to donate, see the donate page. Of course you are invited to designate gifts for any of the programs in the Ministry Page, or give an undesignated gift to be used where most needed. Thank you for considering these immediate needs!

EDUCATION FUND FOR MATTHEW
Matthew is the ten year old son of Esther, the main housekeeper and cook who cares for Eagles Wings and all our visitors. She is a sweet, humble woman who has worked here for 7 years. She is from Kasarani and is a single mother. Matthew is a very bright, respectful, cheerful and helpful child. He deserves an opportunity to realize his potential as far as we can take him in education. This fund has been established to hopefully provide enough funds to carry him through University.
In January of 2021, Matthew began that journey by joining a private Christian boarding school in Naivasha. Eagles Wings has paid for his first term, and donors have paid for the second term which will take him through July of 2021.
Please consider donating to this fund.
* $500 will cover one term of 3 months.
* $1500 will cover one year.
Other amounts will be needed for high school and university.
